CFIN: Seedlings - 2026!

This program is intended for young children (ages 5 and under, primarily geared towards 2-5 years of age) and a caregiver.  
All Seedlings gatherings will take place from 9:30-11:00AM; they will include facilitated exploration activities, creative free-play in nature, and community building through shared experiences, story, and song. All Event Leaders have a background in nature-based early childhood education.
Events will take place at our Freetown Farm (8000 Harriet Tubman Lane, Columbia, MD) or Green Farmacy Garden  (8210 Murphy Rd., Fulton, MD) locations.

Each 7 week cohort costs $130 per family.
​We have had to revise our Friday Winter Cohort to a 4 week Sampler; $75 per family.
In order for the focus to be on our youngest community members, we ask that older siblings (6 and up) be otherwise occupied for the morning and not attend the sessions.  Younger siblings are welcome (as are sign-ups by families with children under the age of 2).  Each Seedlings Cohort must have a minimum of 10 families signed up to run; children who are 5 years old as of their first Seedlings event of the year may continue through the end of the calendar year, even after their 6th birthday.

Winter Sampler: 02/27, 03/06, 03/13, 03/20; inclement weather make-up day: 03/27 - primarily at Green Farmacy Garden in Fulton, Maryland with one 'field trip' day to Freetown Farm
Spring: 04/10, 04/17, 04/24, 05/01, 05/08, 05/15, 05/22, inclement weather make-up day: 05/29 - at Freetown Farm with one field trip day to Green Farmacy Garden
Autumn: 09/25, 10/02, 10/09, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/06; inclement weather make-up day: 11/13 - at Green Farmacy Garden with one field trip day to Freetown Farm
Sundays:
late Winter/Spring: 02/22, 03/01, 03/08, 03/15, 03/22, ** 04/12, 04/19 inclement weather make-up day: 04/26 - first 5 dates at Green Farmacy Garden, April at Freetown Farm
Summer: 06/07, 06/14, 06/21, 06/28 ** 07/12, 07/19, 07/26; inclement weather make-up day: 08/02 - at Freetown Farm
Autumn: 09/20, 09/27, 10/04, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/01; inclement weather make-up day: 11/08 - First 5 dates at Freetown Farm, last two dates at Green Farmacy Garden
