Corporate Sponsors

Thank you to the following companies for supporting CEI's work!

In the past ten months we have been working diligently to transform the 6.4 acres we purchased and protected in 2019 into a working farm and community center.  We are thankful to our corporate sponsors who have generously supported our work in the following ways:
BA Auto Care has sponsored the restoration of the farm's greenhouse. From purchasing the plastic, fans and vents to getting it electrified this is a big project we couldn't have done without BA Auto Care, Brian England, and the many helpers that came for our "greenhouse raising" day in the fall.
  • Howard Hughes Corporation purchased 100 trees for the farm, which were planted in the fall of 2019.
  • Mom's Organic Market donated a portion of their Jessup store renovation celebration proceeds to CEI.
  • Race Pace Bicycles is supporting the creation of a bike rest area at the farm with the contribution of a bike rack and picnic table.

Bray Hill LLC, a full service environmental planning firm specializing in water quality improvements and ecological assessments, created the site map of the farm necessary for our county conditional use process.
We are seeking additional corporate sponsors who would like to partner with us!  In addition to tax-deductible monetary donations, we also welcome in-kind donations.  We are currently looking for:
  • Fencing supplies and installation
  • Construction services for our education center (plumbers, electricians, contractors, etc.)
  • Landscape services (i.e. clearing of invasives from woods)
  • Farm equipment (i.e. riding mower, tools, etc.)
  • Picnic tables / outdoor furniture
  • Natural type play equipment (sandbox, tree house, etc.)
  • Native plants (to add to our various emergent gardens)
We would love to partner with you, and help promote your business through our network of thousands of local volunteers and supporters.  For more information about becoming a corporate sponsor of CEI or making a tax-deductible donation of money, goods or services, please contact Chiara D’Amore, Executive Director, at cdamore@communityecologyinstitute.org.
