Goods & Services Donations

Donation of Goods and Services

Picture
As we get our new farm up and running we are in need of a wide variety of goods and assistance (in addition to financial donations). Here are some specific ways you can help right now!

Our Amazon Wish List: www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3P3Q0LXNIY104?ref_=wl_share

Goods:
  • Irrigation systems
  • Tools
  • Picnic tables / outdoor furniture
  • Fencing
  • Natural type play equipment (sandbox, tree house, etc.)
  • Cardboard (to tamp down weeds in our fields)
  • Pallets (to create compost bins)
  • Native plants (to add to our various emergent gardens)

Services:
  • Volunteer support with "behind the scenes" tasks such as administration functions, marketing and outreach, volunteer coordination, etc. If you have a skill you want to share we could probably put it to good use!
  • Volunteer time helping to maintain our current produce fields
  • Volunteer time to help with other projects, such as planting conservation gardens, general property clean up, etc.
  • Volunteer time to build structures such as outdoor education spaces, picnic tables, animal enclosures, etc.
  • Skilled labor such as plumbers, electricians, tree maintenance, etc.

We welcome student community service projects and having groups such as Scouts, businesses, faith organizations, etc. come out for volunteer days. Please contact info@communityecologyinstitute.org to set a day of service or a community service project up. You can also visit www.facebook.com/communityecologyinstitute/ to find volunteer days scheduled at the farm. Thank you!
