Beginning this summer we will offer a wider variety of options for families to engage with CFIN, stay tuned! We wrapped up CFIN:Winter 2024 on March 17th. Member families enjoyed events at Freetown Farm, Middle Patuxent Environmental Area, our Adopt-a-Spot in Columbia, Jackson Pond, Lake Kittamaqundi, and one event at the Glenwood Branch Library! Participants upcycled containers from their recycling bins, explored native and non-native plants, removed some non-native plants with the Harper's Choice CARES group, learned about Columbia Association's new invasives mapping program, did lots of fun art and movements experiences in nature, and took some lovely walks! Our Seasonal offerings beginning June 2024 will include a variety of themed outdoor events intended to engage the entire family! Follow us on Facebook and/or join our mailing list to receive updates and reminders for registration (buttons above).
