Green Seeds Internship program

The Community Ecology Institute’s mission is to cultivate communities where people and nature thrive together. Our Green SEEDS (Service, Experiential Education, Design, Sustainability) internship program seeks to engage both high school and college students in experiential education and workforce development opportunities aligned with our mission and work at the intersections of education, environment, equity, and health.

For students in particular, the last few years have been full of challenging changes, and our internship program keeps evolving to support students where they are. For the 2022-2023 school year, we will have six-to-eight-week seasonal internship sessions that allow students to connect with their community through hands-on experiences while balancing their school and other extra-curricular needs.

The fall program will run from October 5th through November 12th with sessions at Freetown Farm on Wednesdays after school and/or Saturdays. Click below for the application.
